What is Bill Pay?

Bill Pay is a fast, easy and secure way to pay bills online. Simply put, it’s the best way to manage payments!

What services does Bill Pay offer?

Bill Pay offers many services including, but not limited to 24/7 access to pay bills electronically, the ability to set up recurring payments and a faster payment credited rate for payments than by mail (when using ACH). Bill Pay makes it easy to pay virtually anyone and makes life easier with payment reminders and eBills.

How does it work?

To pay your bills online, you will complete a simple process of adding people and companies you would like to pay. Part of this process requires the account number from your bill. On some occasions, the vendor will also ask you to put in their billing address (which would show on your bill).

Once you add your bills, head to the "Payment Center" where you will find the "Pay Bills" section. In this section, all of the people and companies (the bills) you’ve added will be available. To pay a bill, simply enter the payment amount and the received date in the section of the bill you want to be paid. It will then become a "Pending Payment". You can view any pending payments and payments paid in the last 24 months. You can pay as many bills as you want at the same time.

How do I know my information is secure, especially since I’m using an online service?

Bill Pay uses multiple security measures to ensure the security of your finances and information including SSL, encryption and automatic sign out.

Why should I choose to use Bill Pay over other bill payment services?

Bill Pay is a more innovative technology compared to competitors when it comes to paying bills. Bill Pay is simple and secure. In addition, Bill Pay’s payment speed averages the next business day (when using ACH).

What are the advantages to Bill Pay?

It makes paying your bills quick and easy since it’s all at the same time and in the same place. Bill Pay makes organizing your bills easy with the option to group payments into categories. Automatic payments make it easy to pay recurring payments such as a car payment or mortgage. Most importantly, Bill Pay is completely safe; it’s more secure than mailing checks!
