Josh Shofner – President
Josh joined First National Bank and Trust in 2000 upon completion of his B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Illinois. In 2002, he graduated from the Midwest School for Community Bankers with honors. He has worked on the consumer and commercial side of lending while also serving as the Bank Secrecy Officer for 13 years with a significant involvement in operations and compliance. In 2012, Josh received his M.B.A. from Illinois State University with a concentration in Finance while earning the programs top award during his final semester, the MBA Distinguished Leadership Award. In 2018, he was named President of First National Bank and Trust. In addition to his banking service, Josh served 19 years as a DeLand-Weldon School Board member, the Village of Weldon Treasurer since 2016, a member of the Clinton Rotary Club since 2000, a past Clinton Chamber of Commerce Board Member, and a past DeWitt County Development Committee Board Member.

Josh Grzadzielewski - VP of Community Banking
Josh joined First National Bank and Trust Company as Area Branch Manager with the merger of State Bank of Arcadia in October 2021. He has been with the bank since 2007 initially serving as a loan officer and in 2014 transitioned to manager at our Independence location. He graduated from Winona State University in 2005 with a B.S. in Business Administration. In his community, Josh has served as secretary for the Arcadia Country Club and currently resides on the Holy Family Catholic School Finance committee and serves as Treasurer for the Arcadia Youth Association.

Lance White - VP of Ag and Business Banking
Lance White joined First National Bank and Trust Company as Vice President of Ag and Business Banking in 2022. Prior to FNBT Lance was the A.V.P. in Commercial Lending at a community bank in Clinton, IL. He has more than 25 years of experience in consumer, commercial and mortgage lending. His career in banking began shortly after graduating from Olivet Nazarene University (B.A. in Accounting) by starting as a teller in his hometown. He has completed several banking schools including IBA’s 2-year Bankers School, IBA Residential Real Estate Lending School, IBA Consumer Lending School and the CBAI Basic Compliance School. Early in his career he also doubled as the Loan Compliance Officer for 5 years. Lance has served in his local community as a board member in Kiwanis Service Club, Exchange Club, Clinton First Church of the Nazarene, Clinton Chamber of Commerce and DeWitt County Development Council, where he’s also served as the treasurer. Lance’s goal is to provide a positive and personal experience for every client that exceeds their expectations.

Bruce Klein - AVP of Ag & Business Banking
Bruce joined First National Bank and Trust Company as Assistant Vice President of Ag and Business Banking with the merger of State Bank of Arcadia in October 2021, carrying over his experience with the bank since March of 2016. Previously he had 30+ years of diversified experience in commercial, ag, consumer and mortgage lending, along with management responsibilities. He is a graduate of University of Wisconsin - Platteville WI with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agri-Business and a minor in Ag Finance. Bruce has attended many banking classes and conferences throughout his career, since starting in banking with the Farm Credit Services of Sparta WI, and later working in their Special Credit department in Madison. He has worked for several lending institutions in Minnesota, including 16 years at Security State Bank of Lewiston as a lender and eventually the bank’s manager for seven years. He has served on many boards including the Minnesota Ag Bankers Credit Council where he was president for two years. Bruce continues with his devotion as a community servant, where in the past he served on boards, or as a director, of local and state Diabetes Committees/Foundations, Home and Community Options-service for the mentally disadvantaged, Church, Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development Authority and Lions Clubs. Bruce’s approach to banking and in life, is to help others while not only wearing their shoes, but to walk a mile in them.

Ian Leavitt – AVP Ag and Business Banking
Ian joined the First National Bank and Trust Company as a Business Associate in November of 2022. His prior work experience was primarily spent in the field of agriculture in various capacities, mostly in sales. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Stout for one year before transferring to Chippewa Valley Technical College in Eau Claire, WI where he earned an Associate’s Degree of Applied Science-Agronomy in the spring of 2014. Since his hire, he has completed the Commercial Lending Institute with the Community Bankers Association of Illinois. He has been active in his community through prior involvement with the Arcadia Sportsmen’s Club and the Arcadia-Glencoe Volunteer Fire Department. Ian and his family are members of Holy Family Catholic Parish where he serves as a youth catechist.

Emanuel Gomez – AVP of Consumer Credit
Emanuel joined First National Bank and Trust Company as AVP of Consumer Credit in September 2022. Prior to FBNT, he was a loan officer for a community bank in Whitehall, WI. His lending experience started four years ago as a loan originator for a direct mortgage lender based out of Melville, New York. Emanuel attended Indiana University-Purdue University-Indianapolis, working toward s BS in Computer Informatics and a minor in Business. With his eight years of client service experience, Emanuel's main duties are real estate and consumer lending, and assisting his clients with all of their needs. Emanuel is a member of Lilly of the Valley Church in Arcadia, WI where he serves as both church treasurer and district treasurer of the church council.

Braden joined First National Bank and Trust Company in November 2021 as an Ag and Business Relationship Manager in Clinton, IL. His career in banking began shortly after graduating from Illinois State University in 2021 with a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture. In addition to working at the bank, Braden is an associate director for the DeWitt County Soil and Water Conservation district, member of the DeWitt County Farm Bureau Young Leaders and farms in Northern DeWitt County.
