Students Learn That Anyone Can Be a Hero at First Annual Promise Event

Clinton, Ill., March 21, 2018 – First National Bank and Trust Company was proud to host national motivational speaker, Jon Pritikin, Mon., March 19, 2018 morning at the Clinton School District for its first annual "Promise" event.
"Promise" will be an annual event created and organized by First National Bank as a result of their mission to reinvest 10 percent of their pre-tax income back into the local community, with area youth being one major focus of the bank's community reinvestment initiatives.
“Seeing the impact that Jon’s speech had on the students of Clinton High School was amazing. It was a profound example of words being so powerful to individuals.” Said Rachel Costello, VP of Personal Banking at First National Bank and Trust.
Feel the Power is nonprofit program for children and young adults, positively motivating them to make important daily choices that affirm the value they place in themselves and in others. Speaker, Jon Pritikin, is the founder and 2009 Guinness World Records© holder combining his attention-grabbing "feats of strength" with an even more impressive message of how he overcame incredible challenges throughout his life.
