Local bank donates $10,000 to Warner Hospital Health Services Foundation

Clinton, IL, December 16, 2022 - First National Bank and Trust Company is pleased to announce a $10,000 donation to the Warner Hospital and Health Services (WHHS) Foundation to assist the hospital in Clinton, IL with client care improvements including barrier-free exam chairs to assist any individual with mobility concerns. Additionally, a portion of the funds will support at-risk families with insurance needs.
“We are honored to help area residents have continued access to essential services such as a 24-hour emergency department, physical therapy, cardiac rehab services, updated exam chairs and more,” said Matt Riley, vice president fiduciary officer with First National Bank and Trust Company and WHHS Foundation board member.
Since 1906, the hospital has provided critical services and excellent patient care for the local community. The foundation is raising ongoing funds for essential hospital upgrades as well as scholarships to train and educate future healthcare workers.

This donation will help us to provide barrier-free exam chairs which provides comfort to all patients, but are critical for the safety of patients that are elderly, disabled, or have mobility issues,” said WHHS Foundation Executive Director, Curt Homann. “The support of local healthcare helps provide critical community care for local patients, a boost to the local economy and local jobs, and a healthier local community.”
