First National Bank and Trust Company Announces $5,000 Gift to Local Hospital Cardiac Rehabilitation Suite

Clinton, IL, December 20, 2017 – First National Bank and Trust Company is proud to announce a recent gift of $5,000 to the Warner Hospital and Health Services Cardiac Rehabilitation Suite. First National Bank recognizes the importance of access to quality care within the community and excited to be an integral partner in the expansion of these services.

“Warner Hospital and Health Services and the Dr. John Warner Hospital Foundation would like to thank First National Bank and Trust for its generous donation of $5,000 to this year’s donation drive effort to expand and renovate the Cardiac Rehabilitation suite at Warner Hospital and Health Services.” Said Hospital CEO, Paul Skowron and Dixie Walden with Dr. John Warner Hospital Foundation. "Our Cardiac Rehab department has provided life changing rehab for the community for many years, but has been restricted in the number of patients able to access the service at one time.”

Today, Warner Hospital and Health Services is a fully accredited Critical Access Hospital (CAH) with the mission to provide the community with quality and compassionate care close to home. The hospital currently has more than 150 employees, making it one of the major employers in DeWitt County and a long-standing part of the community heritage.

Having a cardiac rehab program in Clinton makes it more accessible to those who may not be able to arrange for a trip out of town multiple days a week.
